First release with the mysterious artist Deconduct. The only thing known for sure about them is that their studio is in Uppsala, Sweden which is also the home of the label.
Their SoundCloud page promises "stroboscopic techno insanity & dubby darkroom coziness" and the techno part of this release we find in "Seduced", a 132 BPM full-on hard beating dancefloor killer. "Reduced" is apparently the one that goes with the cozy moments in the darkrooom after dancing hours on the floor with it's 115 BPM, soothing bass frequencies and analog dub effects.
We at Crystal Fake Music think that Deconduct brings thoughts back to the rave parties outside Stockholm in the first half of the 90's where the acts on the main floor always played tracks with fast, heart-thudding kick drums where as the chill-out room represented the opposite, a place to relax while listening to more atmospheric soundscapes. Sort of two extremes of electronic music leaving everything in between up to the raver to imagine. This is just a feeling because the sound on this release is up-to-date, futuristic even.
Rumor has it that the next Deconduct release will follow the same concept.
